 North Fork Resort is a year round, member owned resort located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  We are affiliated with many camping clubs, including  Passport America, Coast to Coast and Recreation USA, and recently began accepting public campers for overnight stays.  We are located 69 miles west of Washington, D.C., and are proud to enjoy the shoreline of the Shenandoah River as part of our resort.  Take in a variety of area attractions or simply come stay in a community centered on family fun and enjoy the many activities we offer on the resort.



Directions: From I-66 , take exit 6 State Rt. 340/522 south to State Rt. 55 west (2nd traffic light). Turn right onto 55 west, go 1.9 miles and turn right on to Homestead Road at the North Fork Resort entrance sign.


Important Winter Camping Information:  Overnight camping will be limited to Friday & Saturday nights.  Overnight campers can enter the Resort as early as 8:00am Friday and stay as late as 5:00pm Sunday.  During these times the rotunda, C-Laundry, & the bathhouses (A&C) will be open.  The resort will still be open for day use Sunday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm; however, the buildings will not be open with the exception of  B-Section bathhouse and security.  There will be additional overnight camping for holidays as follows:

Christmas/New Yearís: Wednesday, December 24 - Saturday, January 3, 2015 

Martin Luther Kingís Birthday: Sunday, January 18, 2015 

Presidentís Day: Sunday, February 15, 2015



Effective May 18, 2013, deeds with more than 8 individual names will not be accepted by our office, per the temporary rule enacted by the Board of Directors and under the advice of Resort council.
