It's a very nice and huge RV Park with so much to do. It has a pool, mini golf course, the rv park is right next to the river for fishing, the ice cream truck comes through the park and there's also bands that come out to play music for the RVers. You'll see people riding in golf carts and bikes all over the park. It's a really good time especially if you love being outdoors this is the park for you.

I really like this park! GREAT place for contractors! They have laundry and propane on site. Shenandoah river access. Lots of grassy areas for dog walking. Staff is very friendly and quick to respond to issues. 24-hour gate attendants. Christina in the office is totally the bees knees. Also, spots are shady!!!

Love this place they have so much to offer. 3 pools one is also for little kids. One salt water which is amazing and the other just your standard pool. They have a rotunda that has a play room for kids which my son absolutely loves with toys that have been donated by other guest we Have even donated a toy or two. They have a room with two pool tables. A main room with a TV, books, movies and another room for like playing cards. Haven't played at the put put area yet but see people there all the time and people fishing in the two stocked ponds all the time. We fish in the creek mainly. During the summer time they have either a live band or a dj come out every Saturday from 7pm-11pm and play and even a ice cream truck comes on Saturdays. What more could you ask for when staying at a camp ground. If you have dogs they have multiple fenced in dog areas for your fur babies. And a couple of playgrounds for the kids. Don't have a camper? No problem they have little tiny home/cabins for rent. The only complaint I have is the service isn't perfect if you have Verizon like we do. But a simple cell phone singal boster is all you need and your good to go. So an easy fix really. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone coming through or for long term stays.

We are so grateful we found NFRA for our short term contractor stay. We lived month to month in our RV while we looked for a house in the area. We are thankful for the friendly staff, clean bathrooms, working laundry facilities, frequent ground maintenance, and ample outdoor spaces to relax. From the beautiful pool to the picturesque river access, you will be overjoyed with your stay. Rates are reasonable for monthly RV renting and the facilities are well maintained compared to other Parks we've stayed at across the country.

This campground is conveniently located to many great outdoor activities. The campground was very secure with a 24-hour gate house that checked vehicles coming to the campground. The sites in our section were large, pull-through sites situated in a large gravel parking lot, but there were several other sections including one that runs along the Shenandoah River. There was a great pool with a large kids section that we especially appreciated.

This was a really nice place. Perhaps the price is higher than people were hoping for, but we were on the Shenandoah river with river access.
There is a pool though 2020 coronavirus means its not open every day, but not their fault. There are playgrounds and open fields and it is very nicely kept. The upper area does have lots a bit close so if you have an RV I recommend the back area right on the river.

This place was great! I was lucky enough to get a spot right by the river. They had very nice AC individual bathrooms with good showers. The pools weren't open every day, but when they were a lot of people enjoyed them. I thought it was nice that they had separate pools for adults and children, and they even had a baby pool. The clubhouse was fabulous. It was well air-conditioned very spacious, had pool tables and dart boards and even Hallmark Channel among many on a big screen TV. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area. I appreciated its proximity to Shenandoah National Park. And our town of Front Royal has some very nice shops.

We absolutely love camping there. Greatest place ever for the price. Is it perfect? Well no but you can't beat it for the price.

I have loved coming here since I was a little kid. It is my ``home away from home`` and I hope to continue the tradition of RV camping.

Didn't experience anything negative staying here. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate, water nice and hot. Security people at the gate were friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. Our campsite was perfect right along the river! We saw plenty of wildlife and natural beauty all around. It was pleasant hearing the river at night, it lulled you to sleep. I heard people playing music and having a good time, but once it got time to noise cut off time, it got dead silent. We met a few nice people who introduced themselves and talked awhile with as as we were setting up camp. Water and electric hook up was fine. Very close to Skyline drive and all the amenities of Front Royal such as an eclectic mix of restaurants all around. We had everything to choose from Indian food to southern style home cooking. The pools weren't open yet as it was nearing the end of April but there's still lots to do. I enjoyed just taking a nice walk around the campground looking at various plants and doing my plant nerd thing. We saw deer on the other side of the river and horses as we enjoyed our beer and relaxed! I definitely want to return very soon especially when the pools open! Love this place 😍! Wifi is spotty but I didn't come here to stay glued to my phone 😂! I was grateful to just slow down and enjoy nature!

Loved this RV Park. Went in the off season so many of the amenities were closed. Was put in site 123, waterfront along the Shenandoah River with W/S/E.(30A-50A) Beautiful Park, friendly staff at the entrance booth, clean spacious bath houses.

We arrived at 6:00pm after a 13 hour trip from Québec. We were happy to have electricity since it was 6 degrees outside in mid-February. This time of the year, it is peaceful since everything is closed.
We appreciated the fact that the campground is far from highways and trains and the night was very peaceful.
A good place to stop to when travelling south.

Love this place always have, the mountains help, and always being on North Fork branch of our little River is heaven to me. The one thing that makes it the best, are the wonderful friends we make. Love North Fork and my friends.

How could you not fall in love with North Fork??? I mean, if the occasional train or big boomers thunderstorm doesnt really float your fancy, maybe take a swim in the pool? or try the mini golf? maybe floating down the river in the laziest fashion?? been coming here for over 10 years now...
